Women’s Empowerment Conference

Become a Volunteer!

Want to volunteer during #theAfrocentricX? Please let us know you’re interested! We are looking for a team of women looking to gain experience, network, and most importantly help with the successful execution of a conference designed to help develop women of color!

We had a great time during the 2017 AfrocentricX: The Mixer! We enjoyed an afternoon of education, live entertainment, and empowerment. It was a unique mixer as it was a networking Mixer + Art Exhibit. We experienced culture with an ethnic collection of inspiring photography and a poetic documentary by Vesy Valcheva of VvD Photography!

Presented by YP Empire, The AfrocentricX Celebrates the Black Woman.
We are dedicated to her enrichment and empowerment.
The AfrocentricX woman is a role model, she’s a leader, and she is
continually working to grow professionally and personally.

2017 AfrocentricX

The AfrocentricX was birthed in response to the misogyny, disregard, and lack of appreciation for the black woman. Our goal is to shed light on the amazing contributions of black women to society. What started as a photo shoot has flourished into an event designed to promote, encourage and celebrate black women and all women of color.

Enjoy a peek into our 2017 event as we prepare to make the 2018 AfrocentricX bigger and better!
